Our Philosophy

Character goes to reputation. Your reputation in the community is linked to the character of each and every person in your organization. Having good moral character is essential not only to a good reputation, but also to serve humanity. Serving humanity is not something that happens in a day, it can’t be bought, it is truly from within. When I became an Occupational Therapist, I knew I could make a difference in the lives of those I serve. As my career has evolved over the last 20 years, the one common denominator is that you are only as good as your reputation as a result of your personal character. You might ask, how does this apply to the end users of our products and services. Anyone who knows how organizations run, it all starts at the top. A guiding philosophy of not just running a business, but how we earn the trust of customers. I have always been client centered and client focused. It is an inherent and intrinsic part of being an Occupational Therapist. So how does this translate to a better outcomes and better service compared to the competition. Serving our clients with their individual needs as our first and primary goal is a corporate philosophy that is part of the culture of our company. Our employees and new hires not only have to be exceptional at what they do, they know why we are here. We are here to best serve the individual needs of our customers. Skills like listening and engaging input and making sure that each and every customer is part of the “team”. Providing complex rehab wheelchairs is a complex in nature and requires advanced levels of skill, which requires training. Other providers may have training, but do they have your best interests as part of their corporate philosophy and live that philosophy each and every day knowing that they are going to make a positive difference in someone’s life, allowing them to get back to the everyday things in life that are important to them. You have a choice of providers. Therapeutic Specialties, Inc. is the choice I hope you will make.
